The ErgoPLUX is a wireless platform targeted at ergonomics improvement through the assessment of the occupational exposure in a normal daily work routine associated to the risk of WRMSDs.
The ErgoPLUX acquires signals from the worker's body through sensors placed on the skin, transmitting them in real time via Bluetooth to the computer where they are processed and displayed in real time, assessing the risk associated to that work activity.
The strength of this system resides in its:
reduced dimensions and portability;
standalone protocol evaluations with high applicability in a variety of contexts and high level of expansion;
quantification of risk level at real time and extrapolation for the whole work day;
registry of worker's profiles and of their evaluations' evolution over time.
